Introduction on Modasa Town

Modasa is a historical town situated on the bank of river MAZUM in the Sabarkantha district. Modasa is on the north-east border of Gujarat on the way to Rajasthan. MODASA is a trading centre of this region.It is also developed as a education as well as health centre of the District. Shamalaji is a very known holy place near MODASA.

Introduction of MODASA College Campus.

The M.L. Gandhi Higher Education Society. MODASA was established in June 1960 to satisfy the need of higher education in this region. The students of Sabarkantha, Panchmahals, and Kaira districts take benefit of this college Campus. There are Arts, Commerce, Science education. Law, Pharmacy (Degree-Diploma) faculties and PTC, English medium school with hostel facilities for both boys and girls. There are Museum, Educational Research Centre, Literature Research Centre, Gymnasium and Playground on the Campus.
